Hole Description

"From here the course opens onto the high plateau of the park, with great views of Knole House, one of the largest stately homes in England. The sixth is the hardest hole on the course - deservedly so - with a tricky drive to a blind fairway guarded by a large bunker at one end and a row of World War 2 bomb craters down the left. From here you face a blind second to the flag, which can be anything from a mid iron to a 3 wood depending on the wind. The green itself is surrounded by 5 bunkers and slopes deceptively from back to front. If you get through this hole with your card intact give yourself a pat on the back, and pause to admire the views. We're now in the centre of the 500 year old deer park created by Henry the Eighth, with an 800 strong herd of fallow and Japanese Sika deer grazing all around."
