Adult Membership

Membership numbers are limited to ensure that the course is not over-crowded and maintained in excellent condition.

 

The Club provides for a range of golfing abilities as demonstrated by the handicap profile of all members: Category 1 (13%), Category 2 (31%), Category 3 (34%), Category 4 (17%) and Category 5 (4%). The Club successfully participates in inter-club competitions and matches across all handicap categories and enjoys a number of friendly inter-club matches.

We have a waiting list in operation for all categories of membership except for the ladies section. If you would like to join the waiting list or require any other information about joining the club please contact the office.

Facilities: 18 hole golf course, professional shop, practice ground with practice bunker and practice pitching area, putting green, practice nets, squash courts, and full bar and catering facilities.

Full Membership

Full weekday and weekend golf membership category.

£1,304 - £2,467 (age related discount 30-34) + 1 x annual subscription joining fee (females pay £500 joining fee)

Full members aged between 30 and 34 receive an age-related discount to the annual subscription but otherwise the benefits, restrictions and conditions of Full Membership apply to them.

Membership benefits:

  • Full playing rights to all competitions and Club matches.
  • Use of the practice facility with an obligation to pay an annual fee for range balls.
  • Use of the Clubhouse with an obligation to take up a club card.
  • Use of the Squash courts upon payment of court booking fee.
  • May introduce guests at the members guest rate applicable to the category. Guests should be capable of playing to a handicap of 28 or less (Men) or 36 or less (Ladies)
  • Eligible to vote at General Meetings of the Club.
  • Ability to hire private rooms at discounted rates for social events or meetings.

Membership restrictions:

  • The number of times individual guests can be invited per annum is limited to 6.

Intermediate Membership (age related 18-29)

£415 (18-22)     £919-£1,156 (age related discount 23-29) + 1 x annual subscription joining fee (females 23-29 pay £500 joining fee)

Intermediate Members aged between 18 to 29 receive an age-related discount to the annual subscription

A membership category for UK residents who live outside a radius of 50 miles from the Club and who are full members of another golf club (their "Home Club") in the United Kingdom.

Membership Benefits:

  • Up to 15 rounds of golf after 12pm. Access to all competitions and Club matches provided they can  be played within the round allocation.
  • Use of the practice facility with an obligation to pay an annual fee for range balls.
  • Use of the Clubhouse with an obligation to take up a club card.
  • Use of the Squash courts upon payment of court booking fee.
  • May introduce guests at the members guest rate applicable to the category. Guests should be capable of playing to a handicap of 28 or less (Men) or 36 or less (Ladies)
  • May vote at General Meetings of the Club if have held continuous membership of any membership category for more than 10 years.
  • Ability to hire private rooms at discounted rates for social events or meetings.

Membership restrictions:

  • Main residence must be within the UK and outside a radius of 50 miles from the Club. Upon renewal must be able to produce evidence of their current residence and of their membership of their home club.
  • The number of times individual guests can be invited per annum is limited to 6.
  • No ability to pay a member guest rate to increase round allocation.

Available to Members whose main residence is overseas, but who wish to retain membership of the Club.

Membership benefits:

  • Up to 10 rounds of golf after 12pm. Access to all competitions and Club matches provided they can  be played within the round allocation.
  • Use of the practice facility with an obligation to pay an annual fee for range balls
  • Use of the clubhouse with an obligation to take up a bar card.
  • May introduce guests to play at members guest rate applicable to the category. Guests should be capable of playing to a handicap of 28 or less (Men) or 36 or less (Ladies)
  • May vote at General Meetings of the Club if have held continuous membership of any membership category for more than 10 years. .
  • Ability to hire private rooms at discounted rates for social events or meetings.

Membership restrictions:

  • On renewal, members must supply such proof of residency including tax residency as may be required by the Club as evidence of their residence overseas.
  • The number of times individual guests can be invited per annum is limited to 6.
  • No ability to pay a member guest rate to increase round allocation.

To enable golfers who wish to make reasonable use of the practice facility; play a limited amount of golf and enjoy the Club's bar and catering.

Membership benefits:

  • Up to 10 rounds of golf teeing off after 12.00pm which can be used for general golf or to access monthly competitions (with the exception of major club and/or board competitions) provided they can be played within the round allocation.
  • Use of the practice facility with an obligation to pay an annual fee for range balls
  • Use of the Clubhouse with an obligation to take up a club card.
  • May introduce guests at members guest rate applicable to the category. Guests should be capable of playing to a handicap of 28 or less (Men) or 36 or less (Ladies)
  • May vote at General Meetings of the Club if have held continuous membership of any membership category for more than 10 years.
  • Ability to hire private rooms at discounted rates for social events or meetings.

Membership restrictions:

  • No ability to take part in major club and/or board competitions, except on invitation by the Golf committee.

Primarily intended for ex golfing members wishing to retain links with the Club; to enjoy the Club's bar and catering facilities and to be able to support the Club's social functions.

Membership Benefits:

  • Use of the Clubhouse with an obligation to take up a club card.
  • May play golf up to 10 times per year only as the guest of a member on payment of the members guest fee applicable to the category.
  • May vote at General Meetings of the Club if have held continuous membership of any membership category for more than 10 years.
  • Ability to hire private rooms at discounted rates for social events or meetings.

Membership Restrictions:

  • No ability to have a handicap or county card.
  • No ability to take part in club competitions.
  • No ability to introduce guests at members guest rate.
  • No use of the practice facilities other than when playing as the guest of a member.
